about

It was early 2011 - My old lady had kicked me out and I spent the next few months flopping on couches and rugs until I got it together. I moved into an apartment on 12th & A. I loved it there and was truly blessed to have a roof over my head and a bed to rest it on. There was a beautiful church across the street and each morning I'd wake up to the church bells. This church was home to a flock of mourning doves. Me and my dog lived happily on 12th until she passed away the following year. Every morning after her passing I'd wake up (before the bells) to the cooing of the doves at my bedroom window (that faced the church). Their song carried a secret message, sung in a strange tongue. In my heart it became clear - comfort and peace in a time of loss and deep sadness. A gift from my advocate, my friend, my consoler Jesus Christ in a time of need. I recorded this for you with hope that you find blessings of love and light in your time of need. You are not alone.
